EDIT: sorry if I chose the wrong category but I heard this is considered overclocking ...
Hi.
After a year of having my PC, I realized that my RAM (RAM DDR4 16GB Kit (2x 8) PC4-25600 3200MT/s CL16 SR x8 1.35V Crucial BX Sport LT) has only a speed of 1200MHz.
I realized I could use some A-XMP profiles so I choose Profile 1
Now, according to Task Manager and CPU-Z, my frequency is around 1600MHz.
My motherboard is TOMAHAWK B450 MAX and CPU Ryzen 3600

- is using A-XMP safe in my case?
- and why is frequency 1600MHz and not 3200MHz, am I doing something wrong? (EDIT: is it because it is dual channel?)
