Hello,

Last night my partners CPU started to overheat and restart her pc. I did some troubleshooting and realized the pump was no longer reading rpms and duplicated results on a different pwm header

Luckily I had a spare aio I hadn't used. Threw it in there and it instantly fixed the no rpm data issue however the CPU was still getting too hot and maxing our temps. I repasted the cooler made sure everything was mounted down tightly but no changes. I checked the manufacturer info and might have figured out the issue but am looking for advice.

I've mounted it with the hardware I believed was correct (see below)
However in the installation video for lga1200 socket it showed different mounting hardware (see below)

But I don't think I have this hardware anymore! Is there somewhere I could get replacements? Could this be the cause of my issue? Any advice would be appreciated

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your partner's build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Lian Li Galahad 240
Lian-0Li have a number of AIO's under the Galahad series, which one do you have? You're also mentioned using a spare AIO...you need to understand that due to permeation, fluid's can evaporate an AIO over time. How old is the spare/replacement AIO? What is the make and model of the spare AIO you're working with?
