Question GPU Fans are always running at 100% (3500rpm) ?

Hi everyone!

Since yesterday, all two of my gpu fans have been running constantly at full speed even when the GPU is idle and the temperature is 18°C(It functions as normal). The AMD utility I've been using to adjust fan speeds doesn't take effect anymore nor the MSI Afterburner.

Things i tried so far:
-Reinstalling the gpu driver using DDU
-Reinstalled MSI Afterburner
-Manually stopped the fans then let them spin again
-Reconecting the gpu fans and inspecting the cables
-Reinstalled the bios
-Doing a power drain(60s hold power button without being plugged in, 2 min leaving it like that)
-Tried in bios and Debian

How did it happened?
I bought this rx570 GPU 1 week ago, it worked fine, i could control the fans and everything, no isuees in game, 2 days ago i was using my pc it was very late at night around 11PM, i noticed my gpu was around at 81°C ( i ran my fans using manual mode at a 35%) so it would be quiet because my speakers arent that good, i went in msi afterburner because i was about to go sleep soon, and set the fans to run at 100% so it would cool down fast, in around 10seconds when it cooled to 73°C when i was moving around in the room i accidentally pressed the reset button on my case(it instantly shuts down my pc and then turns it on again)

I saw that and unplugged it so i can head for sleep, yesterday early in the morning i turned it on and noticed my fans were running at 100% and very loud, i didnt seen it as a problem because i knew when i shut down my pc with gpu fans at 100% thats how it would startup at 100% then after a few seconds they would slow down and ramp up to 100%, when i was in windows i opened msi afterburner to slow down the fans, i noticed auto mode was an and the fans were at 30% when i enabled manual mode i noticed i couldnt control the fans anymore and even after restarting multiple fans it still didnt worked.

Specs
I3-6100

Asus prime z270k(i dont have any option to control the gpu fans from its bios)
High Power 450w psu
256GB SSD

Please help i only bought this gpu 1 week ago and im really low on money
Thanks in advance

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

16GB Ram hynix+adata(2666mhz+2400mhz)
You'd actually get a performance uplift if you had a dual channel DDR4-3200Mhz, tight latencied ram kit. As of this moment you're driving a car with mismatched tyres.

High Power 450w psu
I'm not familiar with this PSU. Mind sharing an image of the PSU's stickered sides? How old is the unit?

You forgot to mention the make and model of your case. What OS are you working with?

So it's used. I would return it if the window is yet there but if your purchase was a one way ticket, then try and clean up the internals of the GPU and replace the thermal paste/pads with something better.

One last bit, have you tried GPU Tweak III;
?

Hey, i think im on the lastest version of the bios, the psu is named HighPower 450, its one way ticket and the thermal paste has been replaced, its ramping up like this since that incident that i mentioned in the post, the thermoerature sensor is working properly like it goes to 67 in stress test and its detecting that the fan is running at 100% 3500rpm

Im on windows 10 2024 version and my case is a pro gaming blaze without its glass sidepanel
I know i had msi afterburner amd software fan control and gpu tweaked iii before this happened

I should mention that i have 6 pin out of 8 plugged in since i bought it and its worked fine

GPU tweakers is not working too

The thing is that is i use amdvbflash and i save my bios using GPU -z the bios image isnt recognized like the one that i can download from the internet, it dosent detect it as a bios image, its file is 256kb

I'm waiting for your reply if i should cut the gpu fan wire and manualy connect them to the header maybe they dont connect properly to it and the pwm is gone the bios image saved now works after reflashing again but fans still at 100% i tested it with only 1 fan, the problem is from the GPU i think, please help

Hey guys i remember i did had 2 rgb fans connected to the gpu and i accidentally plugged 1 incorrectly idk how but if you can just plug them incorrectly despite it having standard fan headers, heres how the layout was, the ground was connected to the power pin, the power wire was connected to the rpm detecting pin(yellow) and the rpm detecting wire was connected to the rpm control pin(green or blue)

I dont really remember when this happen but i think it happened that morning, i couldnt see how i was plugging the fans and i didnt expected the fan headers to be symetrical which is how i managed to plug 1 fan wrong, could have this killed the fan control chip?
