I am genuinely stumped as to how to fix this issue. I have a gigabyte b650 eagle ax motherboard with phanteks xt pro ultra built in fans. Everything worked fine until i downloaded gigabyte control center and all of a sudden my front fans just stopped spinning.
I have tried the following:
Uninstalling and reinstalling,
Turning off memory integrity and rebooting,
Uninstalling and then trying to change the fan speeds in the bios itself,
Downloading FanControl and attempting to change them that way (they do not show up on fan control).

The rgb still works on all of my fans as normal but they will not spin at all.
Does anybody know of any way to fix this issue

The Smart Fan 6 feature with that mobo has an option in the fan header configuration screens (right hand side) to use Fan Stop. YOU get to set this. One option is DISABLED so that it does not stop the fan ever. The other option allows YOU to set the low temperature that will shut off the fans from that header so they only come on when the system heats up enough. My guess is that the new version of Control Centre came with this option set to some temp limit. Either set that limit lower so the fans come on sooner, OR DISable the feature so the fans never stop, and simply run at minimum speed with a cold system.

I have tried tweaking smart fan 6. All fans are set to the DISABLED feature automatically. I have tried tweaking them and enabling them and disabling them and they still do not work unfortunately.

Hey there,

This often happens when using 2 or more apps that control various aspects such as RGB. Their services often interfere with each other. You can try SIgnalRGB, which is good for managing all RGB regardless of vendor.
Hey,
My case fans do not show up under the "cooling" tab in signalrgb. The software is cool but unfortunately it does not fix my issue of my front fans not working

The fact that signalrgb fails to "see" your fans may be a failure of that software. Not all third-party tools work as planned. You can be confident, though, that what shows up in BIOS Setup and in the Gigabyte Control Centre tool supplied by your mobo maker will tell you what its headers can "see". If you still do NOT see any case fan speed using those tools, then there is NO speed signal reaching the header. Check that there is a cable supplied with your case and it IS connecting the case's fan hub to a mobo CHA_FAN header. ALSO check whether there is a power supply to that Hub from the PSU.
