Question This RAM for this motherboard ?

I changed my choice of motherboard for a new system because my initial choice was an ASRock board. It was to be paired with G.Skill F5-6000J3636F16Gx2-RM5NRW RAM. It's EXPO compliant, just fits into budget and is on the QVL for the ASRock board. All the other RAMs that I found are either XMP only, have higher latency, cost more or are non-RGB.

My new choice of motherboard MSI Pro B650-VC WiFi II has the 32Gx2 version of this RAM series on its QVL but not the 16Gx2. I'm inclined to think that the 16Gx2 should also work and that the manufacturer simply passed up testing this particular capacity.

What do you experts say?

Yes, agree with @jeremyj_83 . The QVL only goes so far. It's initially DIMMS that have been tested mostly before release. After release it's rare to have a QVL updated to include newer DIMMs tested. I would expect them to work fine, regardless of being on the QVL or not. If they don't work, return them ,and go for the 64gb kit, if you can stretch it.
