Hello! (I’m sorry in advance, I’m very new to this.) So I’ve got an AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT 3.6 and I’d like to upgrade the graphics card. But how do I do that? Isn’t the graphics card built in? How do I figure out which are compatible? Please help a girl out?! I don’t know much about this yet and have so many questions, so any information is welcomed. :)

AMD Ryzen™ 5 5600GT 3.6
Integrated Radeon RX Vega Graphics (Vega 7?)
ASUS TUF A520M
MSI MPG 750W GOLD

This is your motherboard right?

If so, and if you are currently using the built in graphics adapter on your cpu, you should have an open pci express x16 slot that you can use for a dedicated graphics card. You just need to find the pcie power cables, attached to your power supply, buy a new card, slot it in, plug in the power cables, and install the driver for it. Do you have a budget for how much you would like to spend on it?

Yes, that’s the correct motherboard. And I don’t necessarily have a budget but I don’t want to drop thousands on one either. I just don’t know which options will run with it and the power supply both. This really helped a lot, though! Thank you so much. Is there a compatible card you recommend? I want one that won’t bat an eye at high frame rate games. Again, the advice is very much appreciated. :)

Budget is important. Decide on that first. It can be couple hundreds or it can be several thousands.
What is the upper limit, you're willing to spend?

Basically everything is compatible (except several extra high power hungry options, like RTX 4090,5090 - for those a new PSU would be required.).
What games? What desirable frame rate? What monitor resolution?

High frame rates at what monitor resolution?

Edit If your using a 1080p monitor here is a couple in the US that are not real expensive.

The 7600XT is about 500% better than what you have the 7700XT is about 700%

Do you know what is the most you would be wiling to spend? The prices really can vary from around 250 to over 3000. Also, do you know what resolution you will be playing at, or what monitor model you have?
