Freebie Friday - Thermaltake Cronos Headset

I don't really have one so I guess I'll make one up. One day I was meeting up with a friend at a cafe. So trying to be quicker, I cut through an alley way next to an apartment building. Then, from the sky, flew a box shaped object covered the sun as it soon became clear that it was a desktop. It...

    New Build

Yep no problem, and yeah most audio chipsets on motherboards nowadays are pretty similar and the sound quality is pretty solid. I'm using MB sound on my Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H and it's pretty decent.

    Is this build good?

GTX 660/GTX 660 Ti < 7870/7950: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-660-geforce-gtx-650-benchmark,3297-24.html The 7870 is almost performing at the GTX 660 Ti's level in average performance @ 1080P, it kills the GTX 660. The 7950 is similar to the 660 Ti's price point and kills it as...

    Is this build good?

^+1 You could opt for an even cheaper build though, with the FX-8320 matching up to the i5 3470 in many benches, not so hot in others, but in gaming especially. You should save some money but still get similar performance. Check out my $650 build here...

    New Build

Not to be mean, but that build is kinda bad. Not in terms of performance. But in terms of price/performance. The H100 sucks, I will tell you right now, all the Corsair Hydro series or any closed loop water cooling system for that matter, SUCKS. The H100i is great, no doubt, but for the price, a...

$700 Light Gaming and Photo Editing Build

Drop the FX-8350, you should be getting the FX-8320 and saving yourself a whole bunch of money, for that matter the motherboard is way overpriced too. Per your build, you could be getting a MUCH better build especially for gaming. The 7770 is definitely not the route to go. Check out my $650...

    Budget gaming pc

For $700, I know that that's a pre-built and that is much worse than the build I suggested you. The 6100 is Bulldozer, not Piledriver which is about 15% worse. The GPU is terrible specially ocmpared to the 7870 or the 7950. Honestly I'd go with my build but... it's up to you.

Help with 700 to 900 Dollar Gaming Build

Well outside of games the FX-8320 is pretty good at performing. In real world differences, the FX-8320 will do just as well as the i5 3570K I will tell you that now. The FX-8320 does a pretty good job of keeping up with 8 threads and plus it is cheaper and that is the stand point you have to...

Help with 700 to 900 Dollar Gaming Build

Yes, there would be a pretty large difference, any green drive in general even if it is 7200 RPM will opt for power savings which would slow it down just because of how it was made. As for your intentions, if that is the case you're better off going with the $650 build, dropping down the 7870...
